Job Description

Northern Schools Trust are seeking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Principal for the Leadership Team at Gateacre School, which is joining our Trust. The successful candidate will be dynamic, flexible and be passionate about making learning exciting and enjoyable; you will need to be well qualified and innovative and have the tenacity to ensure that students achieve ambitious academic targets. You will need an understanding of developing and improving behaviour and attitudes and of safeguarding.

 

The Assistant Principal will be a highly successful and experienced teacher in their subject specialism, who is able to enthuse, motivate and inspire children, generating a love for learning. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in raising standards and supporting student achievement and have demonstrated experience and ability to lead behaviour and support systems.

 

A key part of the role will be to model and quality assure the high standards and expectations related to behaviour at Gateacre School. We want the successful candidate to further develop, enhance and embed a vision for consistent positive behaviours and relationships.
